Experience nature at its best on Heron Island, situated on a coral cay. It is world famous for its spectacular reef and is a sanctuary for an extraordinary variety of marine life. This natural coral cay provides a genuine eco-experience and hosts a large nesting population of Loggerhead turtles. We will spend 2 nights enjoying the resorts facilities and the island, as well as exploring Gladstone, 1770, Bundaberg, Hervey Bay & Maryborough back on the mainland. Excursions to Bundaberg Rum distillery, Hinkler Hall of Aviation, a sunset cruise at Hervey Bay and a 1770 Larc history tour are just some of the amazing experiences we will include on this 9 day tour.
